Marialuisa Lovari has cooking at the highest level for thirty years and has taught a generation of young chefs and keen amateurs.

She is the executive chef of Cucina Donnaluisa, the restaurant at Il Verreno.

She is able to run a limited number of courses focussed on her love of the cuisine of Tuscany. Marialuisa believes if you want to cook like a Tuscan you must first learn to buy like a Tuscan. Her shopping trips will introduce you to tiny local suppliers as well as the local butcher. Seeing some of the beautiful villages and countryside on the way will be a bonus. You will learn everything from the basics of making home-made pasta to dish presentation; how to match flavours and use seasonal ingredients; traditional dishes and new techniques.
